Braid-out after wash...

After I separate all 400+ locks, I put some braids back in my head and slept on them to see what would happen! It kinda looks like I am seeing some hair growth!! Yippee!!!

My locks had a cute, crinkly, curly look to them! The pics don't really show how they REALLY looked! See that little curl on the side of my head...that's some of my hair that likes to misbehave and slide on out of the locks!! But oh well..I will just let it do what it do!


This pic with the t-shirt on was immediately after taking out the braids...It was kinda not laying right at first...very sectioned as the braids were...(not sure if that makes any sense to you, but I know what I mean!)!

I washed again!! Second time!

Alright...so I braided and banded by myself for the second time since May 31...ain't that ashame...I have just been so scared to wash thinking I a going to cause more slippage than I already have with out washing!! And...it's such a process!! Maybe my patience is just being tried!! So below are the braids and bands.... I think Ms. Blenna said I will probably have to braid and band for about a year or so...I am gonna have to double-check with her about that!!

Here's after the wash!!...I actually don't think it was as bad as I anticipated it being...but it's still NOT my favoritest thing in the world to do!

2-lock twists!

So...I was touching my hair (like usual) and decided to 2-lock twist it (Thursday)! It gave me a little bit of a different look for a few days...On Sunday I did a twist-out...

Retightening #3!

Miss Blenna came in town Labor Day weekend and hooked a sista with a new up-do! I didnt get a great shot straight on from the back but it kinda went up diagonal on both sides and kinda connected in the middle! Again...I didn't know my hair could do an UP-DO!!!

The following weekend I attended a semi-formal banquet...no shots from the back though!
